Our Research projects
Trees for Albania implements two main projects, the Reforestation and Tree nurseries. Both rely heavily on the local community to execute the infield operations. This creates a strong relationship towards our projects within the community and allows us to contribute to the local economy by providing new jobs opportunities.
SOIL COVER AS DROUGHT MITIGATION
Raising temperatures and low rainfall negatively impacts any reforestation projects. This project monitors
differences in soil moisture and temperature between planting saplings where we used soil cover and
without soil cover.
