Our Work
Trees for Albania is building a nationwide restoration network rooted in Albania’s forests!
We collect native seeds from areas in the Lurë-Dejës Mt. National Park, Korçë and Pukë regions. We built and manage two high-altitude tree nurseries at 1,100m in Fushë-Lurë and 1,200m in Voskopojë, where we grow our own trees. Both tree nurseries are equipped with a 100% solar-powered intelligent AgroBot monitoring and control systems.
We also manage multiple reforestation sites in the protected areas as well as municipal territories in Lurë and Voskopojë. We grow and plant native trees while employing local communities in forest restoration efforts.
